Does anyone here know anything about the Forcefield video (e.g., who made it, or any history or details)? I didn't know about that until pretty recently.

Thanks, Dave--I'd appreciate that! Could you tell me something else? The one on Youtube looks like it was blown up from a much smaller image--it's very pixelated-like. Is it the same on your copy?

Oooo, I'll have to check those out! I've never seen, well, probably most of them that weren't major releases, but definitely not the Sea Change series.

I didn't mean to make the post sound like you didn't do a good job, that is a great list! :D

Just added a favorite live video of mine. That vid is great.

Deadweight is a great video too, I've never seen the movie though.

Anyone like a Life less Ordinary?

I really liked it! It's a lot more interesting than the commercials made it seem. It's a crazy love story, but also has gangsters and is told from the perspective of two gaurdian angels that come to earth and basically get the shit kicked out of them as they try to get the two main characters together. It's by Danny Boyle who did Transpotting and a movie called Shallow Grave, which was remade as Very Bad Things, and is sort of similar in feel to this movie. All three made up his "suitcase full of money" trilogy, since they all hinged on one. He did 28 Days Later, too.

Ok, so it was directed and edited by Patrick Maley. The cassette is called "Hand Held" and is a collection of "super 8 films on video by Patrick Maley and Lois Maffeo" and it seems to have been released in 1997. The video quality is good - it looks like any other super 8 film, not pixelated at all. Other videos on the tape include "Don't Touch My Bikini" by The Halo Benders, "Waiting For Rudy" by Mecca Normal, "Charles Atlas" by Lois, "Sourgrass" by Tiger Trap, and four videos ("Bewitched", "Other Side", "Crashing Through", and "Indian Summer") by Beat Happening.

Hope that helps! :)
